I was just going to like this, but decided to reblog instead.

I love British politics. Their elected representatives seem so much more articulate and educated than ours. Can you imagine Maxine Waters or Barney Frank attempting to give a speech like that?

They do seem much more articulate.  Also I think we’ve been…what’s the word…brainwashed?  Too strong a word but I think we’ve been trained (better word) to equate that accent with reason and education.
