I fail to see what atheism has with treatment for sex addictions and obesity. Atheism is just an absence of belief in a god or gods. Nothing more.
The problem is when people try to build it into something more. I don’t think you do this, but it seems people are trying to find something to replace religion as a means of control. You don’t notice this? I wouldn’t blame it on atheism completely, no.
